Free Prepaid envelope . Once you receive the envelope just drop your items in the bag and seal it up along with a note with your name and address and stating how you would like payment to be made! Cash, cheque, money transfer or credit it to your account with us. Take the envelope along to any post office and hand it over the counter, you will receive a receipt, there is NO charge to you. We should receive your envelope the following day, we will then process your scrap and sent you the payment within one to two days.
Visit our shop : Pop into our shop in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter. Our friendly staff will help in every way. You will be given a point of contact so if you have any queries or questions you will know exactly who to talk to. 9 Carat Gold - what does this mean?
Pure gold is 24 carat. The most common carats used in jewellery and bullion are as follows:-
If your item is 9ct, then 9 parts out of the 24 are fine gold, the rest of the metal is made up of silver, copper, and zinc Etc.
- 9 ct = 37.5% Gold
- 10ct = 41.7% Gold
- 14ct = 58.5% Gold
- 15ct = 62.5% Gold
- 18ct = 75% Gold
- 20ct= 83.3% Gold
- 22ct= 91.6% Gold
- 24ct= 99.99%Gold
